Janet
Knutson, M.S., CCC-SLP -
Founder
and Director
Janet has worked full time as a Pediatric
Speech and Language Pathologist since
1985, after receiving her Masters Degree
from the University of Wisconsin. Prior
to establishing the practice in 1991,
Janet worked in a variety of settings,
including Private Clinics, Hospitals and
the Public Schools, where she was instrumental
in developing and implementing progressive
Pediatric programming. Janet specializes
in evaluating and treating children with
language and auditory - based learning
disorders that affect academic performance,
including Auditory Processing Disorders
and Dyslexia. She also has extensive experience
in developing high level social and pragmatic
language skills in children with a variety
of diagnoses including Aspergers's
Syndrome, Autism/PDD, ADD/ADHD, and behavioral
disorders. |

Melissa
Jackson received her
Bachelor’s degree in Speech and
Hearing Science from Ohio State University. She
then went on to receive her Master’s
degree in Speech-Language Pathology
from Purdue University and has been
practicing since 1996. She has
served clients in a variety of settings,
including a pediatric rehabilitation
center, home and daycare settings,
and a private school. Melissa
specializes in evaluating and treating
children with articulation/phonological
disorders, language delays, and fluency
disorders. She also has extensive
experience in developing children’s
early literacy skills, and is trained
in Lindamood Bell’s Phoneme Sequencing (LiPS)
and Seeing Stars programs. |

Sheila
Liddell, M.S., CCC-SLP has been with the practice since 1998. She received her Masters Degree in Speech and Language Pathology from the University of Louisville School of Medicine and has been practicing since 1988. Prior to joining CSLLS, Sheila worked in Pediatric Rehabilitation Centers in Indianapolis and in Louisville, KY, and in the public schools in Kentucky and Michigan. She specializes in evaluating and treating young children with developmental speech and language delays. Specific areas of expertise and interest include Autism Spectrum Disorders, Developmental Delays, Childhood Apraxia of Speech, Fluency Disorders, Prematurity and Genetic Syndromes. Sheila is also skilled in the use of low-tech Augmentative Communication strategies for nonverbal or minimally verbal children. Sheila enjoys providing services to children in a variety of natural settings, including homes, preschools, daycares and private schools. She also coordinates speech/language and hearing screenings in preschools around the Indianapolis area. |

Barbara
Dravis, M.A. CCC-SLP joined
Children's Speech, Language and Learning
Services in 2004. Barb completed her undergraduate
work at Purdue, and earned her Masters degree
in 1997 from the University of Iowa. She
has experience working clinically, as well
as with the Illinois and Pennsylvania Public
Schools. Barb specializes in evaluating
and treating preschoolers and school age
children who have Articulation and Oral-Motor
disorders, as well as Language-based Learning
problems, including Auditory Processing
disorders. She has experience with augmentative
communication as well as with Autism Spectrum
Disorders, Developmental delays, Dyspraxia
and Fluency Disorders. |

Brittany Murray, MA, CCC-SLP has been practicing speech-language pathology for over eleven years. After doing her graduate coursework at Indiana University, Brittany moved to Boston, MA and joined a leading early intervention provider for the city and state. While in Boston, Brittany provided services to children with speech and language delays in a private school setting. Brittany has worked in both the school system and private practice settings, serving young children through adolescents. Her expertise lies in speech disorders including apraxia, and language development including both verbal and written expression. Brittany also has experience in developing social communication skills in children with spectrum disorders. |

Kristen Schaaf,
M.A. CCC
has been with Children’s
Speech, Language and Learning services
since 2009. She is originally from Rochester,
New York. Kristin received her Bachelor
of Arts in Speech and Hearing Sciences
from Indiana University and her Master’s
in Speech-Language Pathology from the
State University of New York at Geneseo.
In addition to her work with Children's
Speech, Language and Learning Services,
Kristen works at a private school for
children who are deaf and hard of hearing.
Kristin has experience in working with
children in a variety of settings, including
schools and rehabilitation centers. Areas
of expertise include articulation disorders
and apraxia, as well as language-based
communication delays and and Spectrum
disorders. |

Elizabeth Kuhn, M.A., CCC-SLP
received her Bachelor of Science
degree in Audiology and Speech Sciences from Purdue University in
1979 and her Master of Arts degree in Speech/Language Pathology
from Ball State University in 1983. She has worked as a Speech/
Language Pathologist since 1979 primarily serving a pediatric
population in schools. She has also worked in private practice and
hospital settings. Elizabeth has extensive experience with articulation,
language, fluency, and voice disorders in children. She has worked
with children in the areas of learning disabilities, cognitive disorders,
apraxia, oral motor difficulties, autism, hearing impairment, and
physical disabilities. |

Traci
Schath, B.S. Traci
has been with the practice since 2000,
and has been trained in the Lindamood Bell™
methodologies. Areas of specialty include
helping children learn to decode and spell
using the LiPs and Seeing Stars programs.
Traci has also received training in the
Visualizing and Verbalizing and On Cloud
Nine Math programs from Lindamood Bell.
In addition to the tutoring services that
she provides for the group, Traci serves
as the Group's Billing Coordinator. |

Amanda
Rozzoni, B. S. has
been with Children's Speech Language
and Learning Services since 2003. She
has extensive experience in providing
progressive reading instruction to children,
and is highly skilled in using strategies
to improve decoding, comprehension,
and spelling. Amanda also possesses experience
in helping children to complete their
language based homework assignments and
become better organized. She is trained,
and has experience in providing Fast
Forward® computer-based
language programs to children. Prior
to joining the practice, Amanda worked
as a reading coach and supervisor within
a local clinic where she also served
as a supervisor and parent liaison. She
enjoys working closely with children
and families to ensure optimal progress. |

Jenny
Harville, B.S. has been with
Children's Speech Language and Learning
Services since 2005. She graduated
from Taylor University in 1992 with
a degree in Elementary Education. Jenny
has extensive training and experience
in providing cutting edge instruction
in reading, spelling and math. Reading
instruction is focused on improving
both decoding and comprehension with
the most progressive methodologies
available. Prior to joining our practice,
Jenny served as a reading coach and
language processes coordinator within
a local clinic. She has also taught
first grade, and served as a developmental
therapist. |
